HISTORY,
Lexella was 18 when the love of her life asked to change her. Her human life was nothing extraordinary until she'd met Derek. With promises of being together forever, she eagerly accepted. Unfortunately, the choice Derek made was one that would cost him his life.
The hive leader had told them that any more additions could endanger them all. That being said the hive leader injected Derek with dead mans blood right in front of Lexella just before he drug him off to his imminent death. As she watched in horror, knowing full well that would be her next, one of the men helped her escape. He told her to find his daughter, that she'd be able to help her adjust to the new found life. So that is exactly what she did.
The man's daughter Katerina had introduced her to a small family like hive. They thrive off animal blood, harming no humans that dont't pose a threat.
