Character Creation And General Role Play Rules!

CHARACTER CREATION AND ROLE PLAY RULES

1. Account Creation - When you make an account on ProBoards, your account should be the lowercase first and last name of the character you intend to make with no spaces(Angels, Demons, and some Monsters are not required to have a last name). For example, it should like sabinediederich for Sabine Diederich or lexellakennedy for LexellaKennedy.

2. Character Applications - All characters must submit a character application.. You must completely fill out this easy application process! It is easy and will only take a moment! Thank you!

3. Accepted Characters - All characters must be accepted by a staff member before you can role play with them! Staff will generally accept a character as soon as it is made as long as there is nothing that needs to be changed about the character. We try very hard to accept character as soon as possible so members may start role playing!

4. Alias - All members applying must have an alias. One name that connects all of your characters together. For example, my alias is my name, Ashley. You may choose your name or pick any other random thing/name you'd like to be called on the site. This is for plotting reasons so that everyone can know which characters belong to which members!

5. Character Cap - We have no character cap on this site! However, any new member is limited to one character until they have proven they are active and literate enough to make another. This is generally about 50 posts or ask a staff and they will tell you if you are approved. Once approved, you may make as many characters as you can reasonably role play with!

6. Canon Characters - No canon characters from Supernatural the TV Show are allowed on this site! This is an Alternate Universe (AU) role play, as explained in our site plot. This means that no one may make or play Dean Winchester or Castiel. You may use the actors still as face claims and you can even use some of the names if you'd like!

7. Face Claims - No duplicate face claims will be accepted! You can check the Face Claim Master List to see if your desired face claim is already taken. The only case in which another character with the same face claim will be accepted is in the case of identical twins. It goes without saying you must have permission from the original member before making any identical twin. JUST AS A NOTE, AVATARS MUST BE 220X350.

8. Tenses - All posts should be made in third and past tense. This makes it easier for everyone to understand what is going on in the post. Having one set tense also eliminates a lot of confusion between members in the same thread. Correct ex - Jewel walked down the road. Incorrect ex - I am walking down the road.

9. Double Posts and Out of Character chat - There should be no double posting! If you are in a thread with someone, you must wait for them to reply before you may post again. If you need to change something, please do so by editing your post. There is no need for double posts. All posts should be in character as well except in the designated boards and chat! Please do not make any OOC posts in the role playing thread!

10. Liquid Time and Time-Skipping - We have a liquid time line on this site. This means you may be in multiple threads at the same time, in the same or different places. You may reference something in a thread that is currently going on as though it was past tense. Time skipping is allowed as well, to a degree. Make sure you are not doing it in excess and that no other plots are messed up by your time-skip!
