Jax was longing lazily in his corridor in hell. He'd just got back from a little pow wow in Denver, a trail of bodies would soon be discovered. They were breaking in a new demon, seeing if he had what it takes. His mind flashing back to his first few years as a demon. It was such a blurred memory, it was like it was almost lost.
He wasn't scared, it didn't even feel anything when he'd possessed his first victim. It was weird however, living in someone else's body. The man he'd taken wasn't anything but a drunk, he really had no family, no job, no money. Nothing. So he figured it wouldn't be any fun making him disappear. His next victim, the only meat suit he'd ever stuck with was a very handsome, and wealthy man. An actor, everyone adored. So of course they were heart broken when he quit, screwed up his life, and became an all around ass.
That was Jax though, snarky, sassy, Dick. The only person that could bare him was the witch that usually needed his help, Sabine. Of course he wasn't surprised when she summoned him. That was her thing, summoning him right as he'd settled into his chair.
There he stood, black slacks tucked into a black button up. His muscular arms crossed over his chest. Bright blue eyes focusing on the witch, a smirk on his lips. "To what do I owe the pleasure Sabine?" He asked, his tone filled with sarcasm.

Sabine was working on a hard case. She'd been hired by a werewolf for a sizable sum to find where his mate had disappeared to. She didn't want to lose out on the money he was offering but she'd tried every skill in her sizable repertoire and could not come up with any sign of the she-werewolf's whereabouts. She had one more dirty trick up her sleeve though. Jax, her friendly neighborhood demon. She'd learned how to summon a demons at a fairly young age and she found that Jax was one of the more willing to go along with what she needed as long as he got something out of it, which she made sure he did. It was why he continued to help her when she called on him.
She'd set up the summoning ritual and then she waited. He appeared before long, as smug and smirking as he usually was. That didn't bother her though. They were very similar in that way. She was slightly concerned that she identified with a demon but- oh well. What are you going to do about it?
Smirking right back at the demon, Sabine leaned back slightly, hand running through her hair. "I need your help, Jax, what else?" She purred, taking a slow step back away from her summoning ritual and the demon, to put some space between the two of them. Her eyes looked over the meat suit he wore, face not changing as she appraised the man's appearance. The demon was a vain one, she knew. He'd always chosen handsome and attractive vessels since she'd met him. This meat suit though seemed to fit him. He'd kept it longer than any of his previous ones. She wondered why briefly.
"I'm looking for a werewolf that has completely disappeared. Her mate is desperate." She said, hazel eyes swirling green with power as they returned to his currently blue ones. She knew they could turn black as night at any moment.

Jax had no problem helping Sabine, for a price. No one wanted to work for free, and Jax didn't. He had a soft spot for the witch though, she was a mere child when she'd first summoned him. He remembered it like it was yesterday. The shock on his face when he was summoned by a little girl was something he'd never forget. From that day on, he'd always come whenever she was calling.
His smirk slowly fading as he listened to her situation. A rogue werewolf, that could be trouble. His hand running through his hair as he relaxed, a kinder look on his face now. "Well, you know I don't work for free. What's in it for me?" He asked, arching one dark brow at the girl.
He had connection, he could easily find out where the girl had run off to with a snap of his fingers. Literally. So he'd have no problem helping, of the price was right. "I can find her, not a problem." He explains, keeping his bright gaze on his witchy friend. A few steps before he was leaning against her ritual table. His gaze finally falling to his hands, as if he were checking for dirt under his nails. "A desperate werewolf? That could be fun." He added, his tone thick with sarcasm. Though if the wolf tried anything he'd kill him in a heart beat.
